Gordon A McGroarty (the “A” stands for Tony!) was born, and raised on the Isle of Bute, Scotland.
The island is nicknamed the “Madeira of the Clyde” due to its clement weather and its palm trees.
Gordon’s life, however, hasn’t been so blessed. Instead of palm trees, he’s had nettles!
Basically, you wouldn’t want to buy your “Lucky White Heather” off of him!
If he is anything though, he’s a “bouncer.” He has always managed to rebound from whatever has been thrown at him. He has even gone so far as to include “author” to his CV, hence “Loose Ends,” which is based, partly, on his beloved Island of Bute.
Gordon has also worked for eight years in the Deaf community in Glasgow and is currently working on his next novel, “Nine Days of Terror.”
