A former Director of All India Radio with a service of 34 years behind him. He was mainly involved in broadcasting for youth ( schools &colleges), sport events especially
running commentaries. which include The National Olympic Games 1968, exhibition tennis matches featuring Frank Sedgman,Neale Fraser.Ilie Nastase,Chuck Mackingly and others. He has presented broadcast coverage of the public meetings of Prime Minister Nehru, President Rajendra Prasad, Vice President Dr.Radhakrishnan.
After retirement he made an in-depth study of Indian philosophy and had contributed ten articles to the prestigious Bhavan’s Journal on philosophical and spiritual topics. Has translated the entire epic Ramayana into English.This awaits publication. Has spent nearly seven years studying the phoenetics of the letters of the alphabet of Indian languages.
