Nigel Patten

Of dual nationality, Swiss and British, Nigel was born on July 15, 1940 at Teddington, now part of London, and has lived in Switzerland since 1961. Educated at New College Oxford Choir School, Watford Grammar School and Toynbee Drama School, Nigel works as Drama and English teacher, specializing in the French Baccalaureate. He also appears regularly in the theatre and on TV in both English and French productions. He has travelled widely on all continents and is an almost obsessive mountain hiker and skier. For 18 years he kept a yacht in Greece and spent two months a year sailing among the islands. Nigel Patten has already published one novel: “ THE WINTER SHOULD PASS”. Né le 15 juillet 1940 à Teddington près de Londres, de nationalité suisse et britannique, Nigel vit en Suisse depuis 1961. Elève au New College Choir School, Oxford, Watford Grammar School et le Toynbee Hall Drama School, Londres, Nigel est titulaire d’un Outstanding Teacher Award de l’Université de Chicago et donne des cours d’anglais pour le baccalauréat français dans un collège alpin renommé. Nigel a une longue expérience du théâtre amateur, comme acteur et metteur en scène, et participe parfois à des courts métrages pour la télévision. Il aime beaucoup voyager et se donne avec passion à la randonnée en montagne et le ski de fond. Son deuxième pays d’adoption est la Grèce où, pendant vingt ans, il passait l’été sur son voilier. Nigel a déjà publié un roman : THE WINTER SHOULD PASS.
