Hello Again
Full Description
On meeting in London in the early 1970s, they fall in love and are on the brink of an engagement when Emma falls pregnant while also involved in a clandestine relationship with a Canadian lawyer, which cruelly ends their plans. They meet by accident eighteen years later in London’s Oxford Street, and renew what becomes an enjoyable relationship. Slowly, however, as the truth emerges about their past, tied to memories of family members they loved and trusted, hopes to rekindle their love are rudely disrupted by an admission from Berry about hisaffair with Emma’s enigmatic stepmother when she fled to Canada. A happy breakfast session turns into a major confrontation and Emma takes off into the London mist. While Marion, a former sister-in-law tries to reason with Emma, Berry is disturbed at the second breakdown, accepting difficult newspaper assignments in Spain and later the Balkans until there is another chance meeting when the relationship develops again with surprising results.
