Hymns of Humanity
Full Description
You seem to find yourself as the main protagonist in these poems from time to time. You seem to say look this was me and about me..amazing. Yet the simplicity of the poem's ending disarms you and unknots an unknown which has been hanging in your psyche, emotions and intellect for a long time. You sigh with relief. The poems cover victory, happiness, sadness, profound grief, professions, hypocrisy, tomfoolery, imagination, spiritual nuances, philosophical fine points, physical and meta physical. Some are concentrated extracts from the most ancient of wisdoms. Such poetic nuggets are sprinkled in this compilation every now and then. However, they can be read and savored only by those readers that have achieved a degree of depth in reading such compilations. Do not be bound by religious and other denominational boundaries while reading this compilation as it transcends almost all such man invented divisionary lines. Also be ready for knotty esotericism that can blow your mind in multidimensional meanings. Try to comprehend a few of them and others will reach into your understanding like a jigsaw puzzle. Shishir emphatically uses a new category of verse -almost self invented. He gives you plentiful sentence end pauses so that you can stop by and ponder and not race to the next line. Usage of rhyme is strictly limited to the category of topics chosen and most poems fall in the new verse category. I trust you will have an excellent and fulfilling time with this compilation.
